Here’s the deal:

you bring a book. It can be your most/least favourite or just something you like to talk about. You talk about it (what you love, hate, are confused by, how it reminds you of long childhood summers watching reruns of daytime soap operas) for a couple minutes to a speed dating partner. Then swap and they talk about theirs. After your time is up, swap partners. Rinse and repeat with pauses for mingling and getting to know more about that cutie that REALLY can’t stand Miranda July.
